We will continue in our Genesis study as we look at chapter two.  There are several themes we could pull from Genesis chapter two, but the one that really stands out to me is that God's first command to man was "Freedom".  He said in verse 16, "Of every tree of the garden, you may freely eat."  God's plan for us was to walk in freedom, not bondage.  Later in verse 25 we see that shame and guilt were not part of the original plan either.   Man did not enjoy the freedom that God intended for very long, but thanks be to God that we know the rest of the story--that is that in Christ we can once again experience the true freedom that God had intended from the beginning.  "He who the Son sets free, is free indeed!"
